Luibl builds a new HUB in Weissenfels

New East HUB near Leipzig on the A9: Luibl Rental invests in a logistics hall with workshop for up to 50 employees
The Luibl Rental Group continues its growth and is investing in a new site in eastern Germany. In Weissenfels, not far from the Leipzig metropolitan region and in direct view of the A9 motorway, the new eastern headquarters of the Europe-wide rental company for aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts will be built by the end of 2027 / beginning of 2028.
With the new building, Luibl Rental strengthens its position as one of the leading providers of specialist equipment in Central and Western Europe. An office building already stands on the spacious site – it is now being complemented by a modern logistics hall, a fully equipped workshop with an overhead crane and its own wash bay.
'The new site will be a central hub for our activities in eastern Germany,' says company owner Karl Bauer. In future, up to 50 employees from planning, sales, engineering, service and logistics will work from Weissenfels. The site will also serve as a regional delivery centre (HUB).
In addition to the new East HUB in Weissenfels, the Luibl Rental Group already successfully operates its South HUB in the municipality of Schillingsfuerst, directly at the Crailsheim/Feuchtwangen motorway junction (A6/A7). The strategically located site serves as a central hub for southern Germany.
With a broad rental fleet, including telehandlers with up to 39 metres lift height and 20 tonnes load capacity and aerial work platforms up to 57 metres working height, Luibl Rental focuses on specialist solutions for demanding jobs in industry, construction and infrastructure. The new HUB underlines the company's long-term growth strategy – with a clear focus on quality, availability and regional proximity to customers.
