Fixed telehandler rental - 4 to 19 m lift height
The technical advantages of fixed telehandlers
Compared with rotating models, the fixed design offers a high degree of stability and lifting power. By using various attachments, a fixed telehandler combines the functions of a forklift, a wheel loader and a mobile crane in one machine - with loads from 1,250 to 16,000 kg, depending on the model. Thanks to the robust one-piece chassis and a low centre of gravity, fixed telehandlers offer high stability. Modern hydraulic systems allow precise work even when heavy loads hang from the fully extended telescopic boom. Many models in our fleet have permanent four-wheel drive and three steering modes (front-wheel, four-wheel and crab steering). This allows manoeuvring in tight spaces, which is a particular advantage in industrial halls or on projects in densely built-up urban areas.
Brands in our rental fleet: Manitou, Merlo, Magni and Genie
- Manitou: broad model range for construction and industry, known for reliability in continuous use.
- Merlo: patented Panoramic cab for wide all-round visibility - an important safety factor when distributing material on busy sites.
- Genie: the GTH series is particularly compact and suited to use in underground car parks or narrow aisles.
- Magni: the TH series offers digital assistance systems and automatic attachment recognition for demanding lifting tasks, for example in bridge or power plant construction.
Renting a fixed Magni telehandler gives you access to highly developed lifting technology for the most difficult tasks. If your project requires continuous 360-degree working without repositioning the chassis, it is often more economical to rent a roto telehandler. For loads above 16 t, a heavy-duty telehandler is recommended.
Practical example: logistics solutions in hall construction
A fixed telehandler from Luibl Rental supported the construction of a logistics hall with more than 10,000 m2 of floor space. The challenge lay in installing heavy precast concrete elements and steel beams on partly uneven ground. Using load forks and an additional lattice jib, the telehandler handled both unloading the trucks and precisely lifting the beams into the roof structure. Doing without a stationary tower crane reduced overall costs and shortened installation time.
Safety and periodic inspection
Every fixed telehandler leaving our rental fleet goes through an inspection cycle and has a valid periodic inspection by an external technical inspection body (EDTC/SECT). The fleet is equipped with load moment limiters that give acoustic and visual warnings before critical operating conditions are reached.
Rental prices for fixed telehandlers
Rental prices depend on the chosen model, load capacity, lift height, equipment, rental period and job location. For an exact quote we need the desired rental period and the requirements of your project. Transport, insurance and additional attachments may be charged separately depending on the order. Applications and suitable attachments
The fixed telehandler is the all-round machine on site - what it actually achieves is decided by the attachment:
- Pallet forks for building materials, brick packs and pallets - the most common use in building and civil engineering.
- Bucket for bulk material, excavated soil and material handling when there is no dedicated wheel loader on site.
- Load hook and lattice jib for lifting beams and precast elements into place - often the more economical alternative to a stationary tower crane.
- Work basket for installation and maintenance work at height. For longer work at height, however, an aerial work platform is the safer and more productive machine.
- Winch for controlled lifting and lowering at hard-to-reach points.
Every attachment changes the own weight, the load centre and thus the load chart. So tell us the intended use and not just the desired model - you will find the full range under Attachments for telehandlers.
If your project requires continuous 360-degree working without repositioning the chassis, the roto telehandler is the right design. Above 16 t load capacity, the heavy-duty telehandler takes over. For indoor use without local emissions there is the electric telehandler.
