The efficient execution of construction projects, industrial installations or municipal assignments stands or falls with the availability of the right equipment. As a machine rental company with its own rental fleet, Luibl Rental offers you an extensive portfolio of modern rental equipment, tailored precisely to the requirements of professional users. We see ourselves not just as a rental company but as a technical partner that gives you access throughout Belgium to special machines from renowned manufacturers such as Magni, Manitou, Merlo or Liebherr. In an industry where downtime is expensive, Luibl Rental ensures the success of your project with maximum machine availability and excellent service.

Our rental fleet: equipment for the highest demands

The Luibl Rental range covers a large number of categories, each with its own technical focus. We consistently rely on a young fleet in order to minimise the risk of breakdowns and to offer the latest emissions and safety technology. Our rental fleet is designed so that we have the right solution ready both for standard tasks and for highly complex special requirements.

Which machine do you need? The quick start

Five machine categories, one question: what needs to be moved - and where to?

  • People and material up to height → Aerial work platforms. Six designs from 6 to 57 m, from the narrow electric scissor lift for standard doors to the telescopic boom lift for facades and industrial assembly.
  • Lifting loads while reaching forward → Telehandlers. Fixed for straight lifting, roto for 360-degree work from a fixed position, heavy-duty for everything above that.
  • Moving pallets and general cargo on your premises → Forklifts. Electric for the hall, diesel and rough-terrain forklifts for outdoors, heavy-duty forklifts for heavy industrial loads.
  • Moving soil and bulk material → Construction machinery. Excavators for excavation and demolition, wheel loaders for fast material handling.
  • Lifting loads over long distances and heights → Cranes. Mobile cranes for classic mobile crane work, mini cranes for interiors, roofs and courtyards.

Not sure which category is the right one? That is normal for projects in which earthworks, material handling and work at height run in parallel. Describe the application to us - you get machines from all categories through one contact person, with coordinated delivery dates and one invoice.

Aerial work platforms for every application

From compact scissor lifts for indoor use to rough-terrain telescopic boom lifts for extreme working heights, we cover the entire spectrum. Particular attention is paid to electric drives with zero local emissions for work in halls and powerful four-wheel-drive diesel units for tough outdoor work.

  • Scissor lifts: Ideal for vertical lifts with a large platform capacity and room for several people including tools.

  • Articulating boom lifts: Perfect for reaching over obstacles at height and accurately reaching hard-to-access spots.

  • Truck-mounted platforms: Maximum mobility for changing work locations, ideal for municipalities and facade cleaners.

  • Mast lifts: Compact helpers for maintenance work in narrow racking aisles or during stocktaking.

Telehandlers - fixed and roto

Our fleet includes fixed telehandlers for classic lifting tasks as well as rotating models (Roto), which thanks to their continuous rotation can serve as an efficient alternative to a crane. With lift heights of up to 39 metres and load capacities of up to 25 tonnes, we set the benchmark in the industry. The Magni and Manitou models in our fleet are known worldwide for their precise load control and outstanding stability. Thanks to the variable outriggers, roto telehandlers can also be positioned safely on uneven ground.

Rental solutions by sector: we know your challenges

Luibl Rental serves specific sectors with tailored equipment and a thorough understanding of the operational hurdles in each sector:

  1. Construction & building: Time pressure and harsh conditions are the norm here. We deliver robust telehandlers and large scissor lifts on time for the start of the site, including instruction on site. Our machines are often fitted with particulate filters so that work can be carried out safely even in semi-enclosed shell construction.

  2. Industry & maintenance: For work in narrow factory halls, we offer narrow electric platforms with white (non-marking) tyres that protect the floor and produce no local emissions. Integrated 230V sockets directly in the basket make maintenance work considerably easier.

  3. Event & exhibition technology: Machines that are available at short notice and in flawless visual condition are a must here. Luibl Rental supports the set-up of complex stage structures, lighting systems and temporary infrastructure.

  4. Energy-efficient renovation & glazing: With specialised attachments such as glass vacuum lifters and work baskets with very high load capacity, we enable the efficient installation of heavy triple glazing in modern facades.

  5. Tree care & landscaping: Rough-terrain articulating boom lifts with special tyres provide access to parks or forest edges without excessively compacting the ground.

Technical expertise and special equipment

What sets Luibl Rental apart from classic rental companies is the depth of our technical advice. Every project has specific requirements for outreach, load capacity and ground conditions. Our machines feature modern functions such as radio remote controls, which allow the operator to control loads from outside the cab with the best possible view of the target point.

Particular focus is placed on versatility through attachments. A telehandler at Luibl Rental is much more than a fork machine. By quickly changing attachments via hydraulic quick couplers, you turn one machine into a multifunctional tool:

  • Winches: Turn the telehandler into a fully fledged mobile crane for precise lifting tasks.

  • Lattice jibs: Increase the outreach and hook height for delicate assembly work over obstacles.

  • Work baskets: With integrated controls, they allow safe transport of people and material to extreme heights.

  • Buckets: Make the machine fit for earthworks, bulk material handling or winter service on company premises.

Project example: glass facade construction at height

A recent project for an industrial customer required the installation of heavy glass elements on a facade at a height of 25 metres. The challenge lay in combining the necessary precision with limited space on the ground. For this, Luibl Rental provided a Magni RTH roto telehandler equipped with a specialised glass manipulator. Thanks to the continuous 360-degree rotation and millimetre-precise control, the team was able to position the elements safely without having to relocate the machine several times. This saved the customer around 20 % of the planned operating time and reduced the risk of breaking the expensive glass elements to a minimum.

Project example: major logistics project in the port of Hamburg

To unload special over-length containers, a logistics partner needed two heavy-duty forklifts at short notice, each with a load capacity of 16 tonnes. Luibl Rental coordinated the logistics at short notice. Despite the difficult ground conditions on the quay, the machines were able to complete the job without delay thanks to their large-volume pneumatic tyres and powerful Stage V diesel engines. This example underlines the great flexibility and logistical backbone of Luibl Rental for time-critical major contracts in an international environment.

The rental process at Luibl Rental: simple, transparent, safe

To make your planning easier, we have optimised our rental process for efficiency, both digitally and offline. In just four steps you get the right machine for your site:

  1. Needs analysis: Contact our experts by phone or via a web enquiry. We clarify parameters such as maximum lift height, required outreach, load capacity at the load centre, ground conditions and the necessary drive type (electric or diesel).

  2. Tailored quote: You receive a transparent quote at short notice. We itemise all costs - from the basic rental to machinery breakdown insurance, transport costs and any costs for attachments.

  3. Logistics & briefing: We deliver the machine with our own low-loaders or via long-standing logistics partners, precisely on the desired date. Our trained drivers give your team a detailed on-site briefing on operation, the emergency lowering systems and the safety features.

  4. Support during the rental period: If technical questions or unforeseen challenges arise, our technical support is promptly available. After the project is completed, Luibl Rental promptly handles the off-hire and collection of the machine.

Safety and quality

The safety of your employees is non-negotiable for Luibl Rental. As a specialist rental company, we stand for the highest standards, well beyond the legal minimum:

  • Periodic inspections: Every machine has a complete, up-to-date inspection record, with periodic inspection by an external technical inspection body (EDTC/SECT). After every job, we carry out an internal inspection to rule out mechanical or hydraulic defects immediately.

  • Maintenance according to manufacturer specifications: We use only original spare parts to guarantee the reliability and load capacity values of the machines over the long term.

  • PPE advice: We actively inform you about the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls. You can rent the appropriate safety equipment directly from us.

  • Operator qualification: We support compliance with Belgian well-being at work legislation (Act of 4 August 1996 and the Code on Well-being at Work) and check the required operator qualification (e.g. IPAF) before handover, in order to minimise liability risks for you as a business owner.

Cost-effectiveness: renting instead of buying at Luibl Rental

For many companies, long-term rental at Luibl Rental is economically more attractive than the high capital commitment of owning machines. In times of fluctuating construction activity, renting offers decisive advantages:

  • Predictable fixed costs: You only pay for the time the machine is actually working on site. No costs for storage, insurance or maintenance during idle periods.

  • Liquidity: Renting instead of buying protects liquidity.

  • Innovation guarantee: You always work with the latest technology. Modern machines use less fuel and have better telematics systems for monitoring operations.

  • Flexibility: If the requirements on site change (e.g. higher floors), we simply exchange the rental machine for a larger model from our fleet.

Construction machinery and cranes in the rental fleet

In addition to access equipment and forklifts, our machine rental covers two further categories that are regularly requested together on sites.

Construction machinery - for earthworks, excavation and material handling. Crawler excavators handle excavation and demolition down to great depths, wheel loaders fast material handling on paved and unpaved surfaces. Operating weight, reach and the bearing capacity of the ground are decisive for the selection.

Cranes - for lifts beyond the reach of telehandlers. Mobile cranes cover classic mobile crane work when loads have to be moved over greater distances and heights. Mini cranes work where no mobile crane can go: indoors, on roofs, in courtyards and wherever access width and floor load are tightly limited.

In many projects the categories overlap - earthworks, material handling and work at height run in parallel. The advantage of a construction machinery rental company with a broad portfolio is that you get machines from all categories through one contact person, one delivery date and one invoice.

What does machine rental cost? The factors at a glance

Rental prices in machine rental cannot be given as a flat rate - but the factors that make them up are the same in every machine category:

  • Machine class: Design, working height or load capacity and performance class determine the basic rental.
  • Drive and equipment: Electric, diesel or hybrid, four-wheel drive, special tyres and attachments affect the rate.
  • Rental period: Daily, weekly and monthly rates are tiered. The longer the term, the lower the calculated daily rate. From several months onwards, long-term rental with its own conditions is usually the more economical option.
  • Transport: Delivery and collection are listed separately from the machine rental and depend on the distance to your site, the transport weight and the accessibility of the site.
  • Additional services: Machinery breakdown insurance, on-site instruction and special equipment are calculated separately.

In every Luibl Rental quote, basic rental, transport, insurance and additional services are itemised separately - so that you can compare instead of having to accept a lump sum. Always included are an inspected machine with valid inspection, maintenance and periodic inspections during the rental period, and technical advice on machine selection.

FAQ: Machine rental

chevronDown

Is there a briefing for the rented machines?

Yes, a professional briefing on handover is standard at Luibl Rental. We explain the basic functions and safety devices and give tips for using the machine efficiently on your specific ground.

Can I rent machines at short notice for just one day?

Of course, Luibl Rental also offers daily rental. For longer deployments (more than 4 weeks), however, we draw up considerably more favourable long-term rates tailored to your project budget.

Which insurance policies are included in the rental?

All rental machines from Luibl Rental are insured against machinery breakdown as standard. This covers unforeseen damage such as operating errors or vandalism. In the event of a claim, a contractually agreed deductible applies, the amount of which depends on the value and type of the machine.

Does Luibl Rental deliver throughout Belgium and elsewhere in Europe?

Yes, we provide reliable delivery throughout Belgium and to other European countries (with a focus on Austria, Switzerland, Poland and the Czech Republic). Thanks to our cross-border expertise, we also take care of the necessary permits.

What happens in the event of a technical fault on site?

Should a machine break down despite our strict maintenance regime, please contact our head office in Passau. We will either send a mobile service technician immediately or arrange an identical replacement machine, so that your schedule is not put at risk.

Which documents do I receive with the rental machine?

Every machine comes with proof of a valid periodic inspection by an external technical inspection body (EDTC/SECT), the operating manual and the technical data sheets with load charts. You need these documents for your risk analysis at the place of use, which is the employer's responsibility under the Code on Well-being at Work, Book IV (work equipment). On request, we provide further documentation on maintenance intervals.

When is renting better value than buying?

Renting pays off as soon as a machine is not in permanent use. You only pay for the time on site, with no capital tied up and no costs for storage, insurance and maintenance during idle periods. In addition, you can choose the technically suitable machine for each project instead of a compromise machine. With continuous utilisation over several years, buying may be more advantageous - we will be happy to work through the figures with you on request.

Can I request construction machinery and aerial work platforms together?

Yes, and on larger sites this is the norm. Earthworks, material handling and access at height run in parallel there. You get equipment from all areas through one contact person, with coordinated delivery dates and a single invoice. This saves you coordinating several rental companies.

How is the rental price made up?

Five components: base rental by machine class, surcharges for drive and equipment, the scale by rental period, transport to your site and additional services such as machinery breakdown insurance or briefing. In every quote we list these items separately - you will never get a lump sum without a breakdown from us.

Which machines does Luibl Rental's machine rental cover?

The rental fleet covers five areas: aerial work platforms of all types, telehandlers from fixed through roto to heavy-duty, forklifts from warehouse machines to heavy-duty forklifts, construction machinery such as excavators and wheel loaders, and cranes - mobile cranes for conventional crane work and mini cranes for confined conditions. Machines from different areas can be combined in one enquiry.

Do I need a special licence for a telehandler?

Yes, operating telehandlers requires the required operator qualification (adequate training ensured by the employer). For journeys on public roads, the required Belgian driving licence category is also decisive.

Your success is our driving force

Luibl Rental stands for uncompromising quality in access equipment. With a combination of a state-of-the-art machine fleet, in-depth technical expertise and simple, personal handling, we are the preferred partner for B2B customers throughout Belgium.
