Excavator rental at Luibl Rental - from mini excavator to wheel loader

We offer you compact yet powerful excavators - that is the best way to describe our construction machinery. Our mini excavators are equipped with a quick coupler system, adjustable track undercarriage and a dozer blade. The high-quality mini excavators and wheel loaders in our rental range are suited to fast earthmoving in small spaces. In addition, our excavators are mainly used on private properties or in road and path construction. These are just a few applications of our rental mini excavators. Looking for a wheel loader, crawler excavator or mini excavator? Simply send us a request and we will promptly quote you the price including delivery.

The applications of our excavators

Our robust mini excavators are mainly designed for earthmoving in tight spaces. Rent a mini excavator to work efficiently in garden construction, landscaping, road and path construction, and for digging work around green spaces and houses. This lets you easily dig trenches for drainage or utility lines, carry out excavation and foundation work, and excavate small areas for car parks, footpaths or driveways. Our mini excavators weigh approx. 1 - 2 tonnes and can therefore be transported flexibly, for example with a trailer and a car. The rental mini excavators are equipped with a monoblock swing boom (mono = one-piece), a stable boom with high load capacity. Our mini excavators have high tearout and breakout force; with their maximum digging depth and robust track undercarriage, our machines impress in a wide range of applications.

Rent top safety equipment

All our rental mini excavators weighing 1 - 2 tonnes run on rubber tracks. The rubber tracks prevent damage to sensitive surfaces such as asphalt, screed or lawns. The mini excavators have an adjustable track width and dozer blade, which gives you not only optimum stability on site but also agile manoeuvring through narrow passages. The quick coupler system on our excavators lets you change quickly between different buckets. Depending on the project, you can rent the attachments from us at the same time. We make safety a top priority, which is why important safety features are fitted: in the mini excavator segment, depending on the type, we offer TOPS roll bars and ROPS/TOPS safety cabs for rent.

Our crawler excavators for rent

Due to their very compact design, our crawler excavators are often called compact excavators. When you rent a crawler excavator, you get a manoeuvrable excavator whose rear does not swing out, or hardly swings out, beyond the track undercarriage. The crawler excavator also has a monoblock swing boom (mono = one-piece). In addition to the counterweights, the track undercarriage and the robust dozer blade provide greater stability. Take these factors into account when renting the excavator. Our crawler excavators are used, for example, in road construction and civil engineering. Our crawler excavators weigh 3.5 tonnes to 5 tonnes, have a lift height of 5 metres to 6 metres and an outreach of approx. 5 metres. Are you looking for an aerial work platform for installation work instead? We are at your side as a company here too.

Where the rental excavators are used

Crawler excavators are particularly suited to work in confined spaces, for example in civil engineering or on road works. Here there is no risk of the excavator's rear swinging into traffic.

Our heavy crawler excavators for rent

Our heavy crawler excavators are mostly used on large sites, such as in civil engineering or road construction, because of their great lift height, wide outreach and large digging depth. Our heavy crawler excavators have a large digging depth and are therefore popular rental machines for digging building pits. Excavators are also very well suited to loading soil, gravel or rubble. With robust steel tracks and a powerful engine, the heavy crawler excavator can be steered reliably and safely through rough terrain. Our versatile crawler excavators are ready for rent in our excavator range. Our heavy crawler excavators weigh 8.5 tonnes to 30 tonnes, have a lift height of 7 metres to 10 metres and an outreach of 7 metres to 11 metres. With one of our excavators, you can complete any project!

Rent the best engines in our excavators

Our modern crawler excavators are suited to any task in building construction, civil engineering and road construction. The special steel tracks on our excavators effectively protect the ground. The powerful engines to emission standard EU Stage V also deliver their performance. They handle gradients of up to 35° and travel speeds of maximum 5 - 6 km/h. You can rent our crawler excavators with a monoblock arm or a hydraulic adjustable boom. The compact dimensions let you rent and use the excavator without complications. Comfortable working is ensured by the spacious safety cab, automatic climate control or heating and the ergonomic heated seat.

Which excavator do I need for my project?

While our mini excavators are rented for projects around the house and garden, our reliable crawler excavators are very powerful in demanding earthworks. Depending on the model, our excavators are equipped with a monoblock swing boom for high load capacity or with a hydraulic adjustable boom for more flexibility. Depending on the project, our high-quality excavators provide effective support in digging pits, levelling and grading. They are also very easy to control.

The project requirements - for example digging narrow trenches or excavating a pond - and the associated tasks determine the necessary accessories as well as the excavator model. We rent out a wide range of attachments.

The built-in quick coupler system makes fitting attachments fast. The dozer blade serves to stabilise the excavator while digging or to level a surface. Excavators with a cab can be equipped with a radio. From an operating weight of 3.5 t, they also have a short-tail design for slewing within the machine contour. If you have questions about rental, attachments, accessories etc., please contact our customer service by email or phone. We are happy to help.

FAQ: Renting an excavator

chevronDown

What size of excavator do I need?

The deciding factors are digging depth, reach and the space available. Mini excavators work where access and slewing space are tight, for example in landscaping or in courtyards. For excavation and demolition on a larger scale, crawler excavators are the right class.

What is the difference between an excavator and a wheel loader?

The excavator digs with a bucket on the movable boom and works from a stationary position. The wheel loader pushes and loads with the bucket and is fast over short distances. For excavation, choose the excavator; for material handling, the wheel loader.

Which attachments are available for excavators?

In addition to digging and trenching buckets, attachments include sorting grabs, hydraulic breakers, compactor plates and ditch cleaning buckets. Attachments are priced separately and change the operating weight - tell us the intended application and we will put the combination together.

Do I need a certificate to drive an excavator?

To drive earthmoving machinery on company premises, the driver needs the required operator qualification; the employer provides instruction and appointment in line with applicable Belgian safety rules. A training certificate is the usual proof of this qualification.

Crawler excavator or wheeled excavator?

Crawler excavators distribute their weight better, are more stable on soft and uneven ground and are the rule in heavy earthworks. Wheeled excavators are faster between sites and protect paved surfaces.

How does the excavator get to the site?

With our own low-loader fleet: delivered by low-loader to your site. Delivery and collection are shown separately from the machine rental and depend on distance, transport weight and access. Check in advance whether a low-loader can reach the set-up location.

How much does it cost to rent an excavator?

The rate depends on operating weight, attachments, rental period and transport. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are tiered; the longer the term, the lower the calculated daily rate. Included are the inspected machine, maintenance during the rental period and technical advice.

Do I need to have utility lines checked before excavation?

Yes. Before earthworks, information on utility lines must be requested from the network operators and the position of cables and pipes must be clarified. This obligation lies with the client or the contractor carrying out the work, not with the rental company.
