A striking example of the performance of Genie technology at Luibl Rental was the renovation of a high-rise building in a German metropolitan region. Because of the dense urban development, erecting scaffolding was not economically viable. Luibl Rental supplied a Genie SX-180. Thanks to the enormous working height of almost 57 metres and an outreach of 24.38 metres, the technicians were able to reach every area of the facade safely from a single set-up position. The precise proportional controls allowed centimetre-accurate positioning against the delicate glass facade, and the project was completed well ahead of schedule.

Safety is part of the DNA of Genie and Luibl Rental. Every machine is maintained in accordance with the current NBN EN 280 and undergoes periodic inspection by an external technical inspection body (EDTC/SECT).
